Dreamwidth

I want to cry.

I do not know how Dreamwidth works - how do I add all my lj-flist to that account??Do I have to start from scratch? Do I have to hunt down my lj-flist who has dreamwidth accounts and add them in manually? Does that mean I have to send messages to friend them in case they dunno who I am????

I want to cry. Really, I do.

LJ - FUCK YOU for making my life miserable. At least that's what I'm feeling right now.

I'd probably need to set aside some time to figure Dreamwidth out.  I know I'm just panicking. It cannot be that hard......

**Hugs** It's not that terrible, really. You can import all your content from LJ to DW, you'll find many on your flist are there, and those who aren't can access your posts using OpenID. Finally, many people are going to still be posting to LJ, just from DW with comments turned of on LJ to protect their privacy.

Don't worry, it looks like everyone is staying with LJ for now. I was worried and bummed out too, but I'm seeing quite a few people saying that they're staying, just asking peeps not to cross-post.

I got a dreamwidth account today, and it was really easy to transfer all my LJ stuff to it - it imported all my entries, my profile and all my friends.

I think Rrose might still have some invite codes - she gave me mine this afternoon. Kis has some too I think.

It's just that I'm really happy with LJ cos everyone is here. Hopefully no one leaves and just keeps Dreamwidth as a back up. Yeah, I'm resistant towards change. LOL!!!

I just can't bear having to go all over the place for my kicks. *pouts*

I'm so glad to know that. ^_^

But am kinda sad that rroselavy and phae are not. That breaks my heart.

Somehow I seem so resistant towards this change. I cannot seem to accept that some are going to break away. I understand that it is a matter of principle and they have voiced very concrete reasons, and I'm proud that they feel so passionate/strong about it to take action. Yet I want things to remain as they are. I'm so selfish.....:P

Hopes really hard that this thing blows over and everyone decides to stay put. I sound like a stupid spoilt brat. *smacks head*
