1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag five people

I take her arm, and away we go.When we get to the edge of the Meadow I say, "Shade or sun?" and she answers, "Oh, sun, to be sure," and so we take the path that cuts through the middle of the Meadow, that leads to the clearing. As we walk, I describe.

"We're passing the bonfire pile. ......."

-- The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

The above is the closest one to me, cos it's on my coffee table which is right behind my computer table where I have been for the past 3 hours. LOL!!  My colleague strongly recommended me this novel - her personal favourite but alas, it has been gathering dust on my coffee table for the past 4 months?? If not for this meme, I doubt I would have flipped open this novel at all. :P

I like it. (: The way the story ties together later on is nice and intelligent. But alas, it's a romance, and I don't like romance if it isn't written before 1940. XD

I'm not a big fan of romance too. I into smut. LOL!!!

I dun read much nowadays (Except for fan-fic) but when I do, it 's usually under the fantasy or supernatural category. A form of escapism, I guess. RL is already stressful enough. :)

This one's on my 'bus ride' pile, but I haven't been riding the bus lately. I'm really looking forward to reading it, though.

Oh, dang, there simply isn't enough time in the day any more. I have so many books that I want to read and haven't been able to get to yet

I too have a couple of books that I would like to read, mainly Dan Brown & the above. Yet most of the time, I'm glued to my computer. And I've also been neglecting my jewelry-making... a lot.

Yikes... The Internet has taken over my life!!! LOL!!!
