Facebook - my nonsensical rambling on it
Jan. 23rd, 2010 10:10 amAfter being asked for the goodness-knows-how-many-times whether I have a facebook account, I decided to do it. I created a new Facebook account, only to have it deactivated within a span of 24 minutes. LOL!!!
My final conclusion (AFTER I set up the account!!! Way to go, suanz) is I do not want to keep in touch with 'long, lost friends'.
I'm thinking if I had wanted to remain as friends, we would not have lost touch, right?
So if we did lose touch, that would mean there is a reason to it, yes???
And I realised that I've placed all settings to be viewed by myself only. If I'm gonna keep my stuff private & only viewable to myself (Why would I wanna check myself out??!) , what's the point of the damn account?
And why would I want my current friends check me out on the web when we can meet up instead?
And I don't want my colleagues (horrors!!) to know too much about my private life. It's bad enough we spend 8 - 9 hours with each other daily, no matter how close we are.
Why am I writing this? Cos I have to do some cleaning which I really do not want to do and take pictures of my jewelry that I've been putting off for at least 6 months (so lazy, I know), and there's nothing interesting on the Internet and I'm not in the mood to watch anime, but yet I really don't wanna move from my PC, so I type some nonsensical post in my journal and pretend that this is something I need to do.
Hah!!! I kill me.
