I've noticed that a lot of ljers are taking part in the National Novel Writing Month. I've googled a bit about it and have a rough idea what is it about.

What I'm curious about is what do you do with the finished product? Does anyone get to read your work? Or do you source for a publisher?

Just wondering.....

It all depends on what you wrote, I suppose, and how you feel about your writing. :) Last year I wrote a (stealthy) fanfic, which I eventually published on LJ and ff.net. This year I'm trying to write an original novel, which, if it's good enough, I will try and publish.

Thanks for the info.

Can I know the title of your fic for last year? If it's not Saiyuki, I'd probably have skipped it. I would love to have a look at the fic.

And all the best with this year's project. You're still have about a quarter left, no? Ganbare!!

*hugs*

It was a Supernatural fanfic, a backstory for a character who allowed an angel to possess his body. It's bordering original fic, because at the time I was writing it the character had no name and no backstory whatsoever. :) So, even if you don't know SPN at all you can safely read it (it's probably better that way XD). The story is called "As I Lift Up My Hands", is all up on my LJ.

Thanks! Actually, I'm at 42k, which leaves me something like 15% to go. :)
