IMO, this was an absolutely wonderful interpretation of Hana Yori Dango.

I totally loved :
Lee Min Ho as Gu Jun Pyo / Domyoji Tsukasa, followed by Jerry Yan's. Min Ho did a really great rendition of the hot tempered yet goofy and naive Domyoji. Jun Matsumoto's acting was good but I've always felt he was a bad, bad choice. The shortest Domyoji ever. Eew...

Kim Hyun Joong as Yoon Ji Hoo / Hanazawa Rui. I've always hated this character but Hyun Joong gave the character life. I hated both Vic Zhou's & Shun Oguri's version. They took the autistic thing too seriously. Anyway Hyun Joong's acting started out stiff but it improved by leaps and bounds as the drama progresses.

Kim Bum was perfect as So Yi Jung / Nishikado Sojirou. The Korean actor did this character true justice. Ken Zhu was totally wrong in the Casanova role. Matsuda Shouta was forgettable.

Kim Jun was cute as Song Woo Bin / Mimasaka Akira. It would have been nice if they had further developed the character. I did not mind Vanness Wu's version. Like Shouta, Tsuyoshi Abe was equally forgettable.

My favourites in order of preference :
